(06)  Common questions

What clients ask before working with us. If we missed one, just message us.

Frequently asked.

How long does a typical project take?
Most marketing sites ship in 5–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. Single-page sites are 2–3 weeks. Larger platforms (e-commerce, SaaS) typically run 10–14 weeks. We give a fixed timeline in the proposal.
Do you work with our existing developers?
Often, yes. We can deliver design only, design + front-end, or a complete build. If you have an in-house team, we'll work alongside them and hand off clean, documented code.
What does the price actually include?
Strategy, design, hand-coded front-end, headless CMS setup, staging environment, deployment, and 30 days of post-launch support. Hosting, domain, and any third-party tools (Stripe, Sanity, etc.) are extra and quoted separately.
What if we don’t know exactly what we need?
That's normal. Our discovery week is built for this — we audit what you have, talk through goals, and come back with a brief, sitemap, and recommended scope before anyone signs anything.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. We're happy to sign a mutual NDA before kickoff. Send yours over, or use ours.
Do you offer refunds?
If we can't reach a design direction you're happy with after the first two rounds in discovery, we refund the deposit minus a small kill fee. After that, work is paid out in milestones.
Will the site be fast?
Yes. We target Lighthouse 95+ on every project and guarantee 95+ on the Growth tier and above. Performance is part of the build, not an afterthought.
Do you handle hosting and maintenance after launch?
30 days of hypercare is included with every project. After that, we offer monthly retainers starting at 4 hours/month for updates, monitoring, and content changes.

How we approach motion in 2026

Most motion on websites is decorative noise. Here's the small set of rules we use to make sure every animation earns its place — tied to meaning, not novelty.

Why we still hand-code

Webflow and Framer have come a long way — for the right project they're great. For the work we care about, hand-coding still wins. A breakdown of why, with numbers.

Brand systems that scale

Most brand guidelines die in a PDF. We design design systems instead — tokens, components, documentation that engineering can actually use. Lessons from three recent system builds.
